Here's a collection of photos from our Pacific Coast road trip. We journeyed from Denver to Yellowstone, to Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho, Hood River in Oregon, the Columbia River Gorge, down the Oregon coast into Northern California to see giant redwoods, then back across the high desert back home again.

The Neskowin Ghost Forest was exposed by harsh storms in 1997, revealing hundreds of 2,000 year old tree stumps on the beach
These stumps are the remains of what were sitka spruce that would have towered more than 200 feet tall
The fog gave the Neskowin Ghost Forest a really eerie feel

The Delta Solar Ruins in Utah
The Delta Solar project was supposed to be a cheaper solar alternative than solar panels
...instead it was deemed a tax fraud in 2018 and never produced any electricity
These towers are just deteriorating in the Utah desert, even though they were only built around 2013
